The new-look eControl Touch has been designed to provide complete fingertip control, with an ergonomic design allowing for ease of operation. The new configuration includes a larger 7” LCD touch screen, displaying complete system information at a glance. A robust jog wheel has also been added to enable operators quick access to the complete range of system information even when wearing gloves.

Real-time system diagnostics

Following on from the success of the award-winning eControl+, which won a prestigious Red Dot award for design innovation, the eControl Touch includes a range of smart new features. The inclusion of more sensors provides operators with real-time readings of pressure and flow, RPMs, and fuel and water levels at a glance. Critical machine components are continually monitored, with warning alerts and solutions to impending machine malfunctions displayed on the touch screen. If regeneration warnings are ignored too many times, the engine will automatically shut off. Not only does this significantly reduce machine downtime and maintenance costs, but it also ensures the safety of clients and operators. Information can be relayed directly to the new RioMote handset, enabling the readout of diagnostics at a distance from the jetting machine.

New ergonomic design

The new-specification eControl Touch has been developed for safe operation in the toughest conditions. User safety has been paramount in the design of the new unit, which can be started with an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag, or a unique code if the RFID tag is lost. Real-time information and machine diagnostics are available at a glance, displayed on an easy-to-use 7” LCD touchscreen in a choice of 12 languages. Operators can also scroll through a range of machine functions using the user-friendly jog wheel, which can be operated even while wearing gloves. The popular RioMeter hose metre counter has also been included as standard, providing accurate measurements of the length of hose that has travelled along the pipe.

RioMote remote control

The new and improved RioMote remote control handset features an LED screen, with information able to be relayed directly from the eControl Touch. Operator safety is dramatically improved when working in restricted access sites and at a distance from the jetting machine, with pressure, flow, run time and system and component warnings displayed at a glance.
