Mobile Service Technician

Rioned is the European market leader in drain cleaning and jetting equipment from sales, engineering and manufacture to hire, repair and service. After celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2016, Rioned is proud to be part of the multi-billion dollar Heico Group of Companies

The UK arm of Rioned is also the market leader in its field. In 2016 both the Rioned Group and the UK as a region delivered its highest levels of sales and profitability in its 60 year history. The UK team is small and  agile across two locations with just twenty full time employees. We have an amazing team of people and amazing products, the combination of which is the simple recipe for our success. It relies on senior members of the team who are prepared to roll up their sleeves on a daily basis and it relies on junior members of the team who are prepared to stand up and be counted without hesitation or fear of persecution. No two days are the same, there are days to crack open the champagne and days you think will never end but this is the nature of our business and our industry.

We don’t expect anyone to be able to walk in and do the job straight out of the blocks but we start with character, then values, then potential, then experience. In 3-5 years the UK business will look very different – it will be bigger, better and braver than ever before. Think of this job description like trying to describe how to fit into a family, or how a military unit achieves success, then decide if this job is for you.

As a Mobile Service Technician you will be representing the organisation on the front line every day. Your imagination, your attitude, your professionalism and the quality of your work will be a true reflection of the company. We expect you to eventually know your customers, your products and your procedures inside out and quickly start to contribute to the bottom line by generating more revenue than your costs and converting customers to service agreements because they consider us to be the best at what we do. Not only will you be regularly visiting customers at their premises but also supporting on site services as needed.

£22k-£30k per annum depending on experience, company service vehicle (VW Crafter),

25 days holiday (pro rata) + stats, up to 4% matched contribution to private pension scheme, mobile phone and laptop.

Rioned, European market leader in effective sewer cleaning equipment is looking for an

Export Area Manager Europe / US (fulltime)

In this role you will be responsible for the development of a number of assigned European markets in which Rioned works closely with distributors.

What will you be doing?

Rioned is growing together with the distributors with which we have worked for years, but also with new partners. In this position you will be able to divide your attention between existing relations and new contacts. You will regularly (you travel about a third of your time) visit our distributors in the countries concerned. You will train them and make sure they know all the ins and outs of our products. You will represent Rioned at trade fairs, analyse the market potential per country and define the growth opportunities. You will draw up targeted action plans for this. And you won't just draw up plans, you will also make sure they are implemented. It goes without saying that you will receive support from colleagues from other departments.

In this role you will focus on the countries in Europe where Rioned only works with distributors (Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Baltic States, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Spain and Italy) and support our sister companies in Germany and the United States. You must therefore speak English and German fluently. It is a very versatile job in an international environment, in which the goal of Rioned - ''Keeping your business flowing'' - is central.

Who are you?

You have been working for at least 5 years in an Export Sales position in the B-to-B market and speak fluent English and German. You build relationships and communicate at all levels of the organisation. You use your analytical skills to draw up and implement growth strategies. Because of our product range it is important that you have an affinity with technology. You also see it as an appropriate part of your work to travel for about one-third of your time, on average.

What are we offering?

We ask a lot of you, but you get a lot in return. We offer you a challenging international position in a financially strong organisation that has been growing for years. A good work-life balance is important to us. For this reason, you will be entitled to no fewer than 38 days off each year.  Of course you can also count on a competitive benefits package. Rioned also offers good training and development opportunities so that you can continue to develop yourself.

Where will you be working?

Rioned is the European market leader in effective sewer cleaning and inspection equipment. For over 60 years we have been designing and producing high quality and innovative machines and products. Reliable, even under the most extreme conditions.

We develop and produce equipment for small to medium-sized sewer systems and have a leading market position in Europe. On the one hand because of our expertise and focus on innovation. But also thanks to the reliability and durability of our products, for which we only use premium quality materials. Our product range includes spring machines, high-pressure cleaning machines, combination units, inspection and detection systems, parts and accessories. We are driven in what we do and strive for 100% customer satisfaction by making and selling products that facilitate the work of our customers.

Rioned is located in Tilburg, with sales offices in Belgium, France and England. More than 110 employees work here for our customers each day. We also have a worldwide network of distributors, extending far beyond the EU. Rioned is part of the Heico group, an international holding company with 72 independent companies.
