The new UrbanJet is available with an industrial, water-cooled diesel or petrol engine and is ideal for unblocking house connections and operation in domestic and light cleaning in pipelines up to 350mm. The machine can be operated via the award-winning eControl+ machine management system or optional 5 or 7-Channel radio remote controls to facilitate safe, single-person operation.
Engineered to be a compact and lightweight water-jetting machine
The new-specification UrbanJet has been designed to fit most compact 3.5t vehicles, such as the VW Transporter, Ford Transit and other similar-sized vans. Weighing considerably lighter than the CityJet van-pack, this fully-featured, lightweight machine can be installed in the smallest commercial jetting vans with ample space for additional tools and ancillary equipment.
Drainage machine safety features
Operator safety was a key consideration in the design of the UrbanJet, with the new-specification machine featuring a wide range of safety features. The run-dry function for low water pump protection has an override facility to allow users to safely retrieve the hose from the drain or sewer, while an optional pivoting hose reel improves operation and increases user safety. RioSpindel hose guidance is also included as standard, while an electric water level control, RioFree mechanical hose reel and anti-freeze tank are available as optional extras.
Rioned’s award-winning eControl+
Despite its affordable price tag, the new-specification UrbanJet is equipped with the award-winning eControl+ with LCD display as standard. Providing full machine status at a glance, the interface can be operated in the toughest conditions and while wearing gloves. The eControl+ also provides users with error information for quick-fault diagnostics.
